I got curious and downloaded it on my iPhone 4S

Here you get to shop till you drop (the coffee sign on the upper right side indicates your energy level), of course you can use the diamond or the bucks to purchase clothes, shoes and accessories. I have an initial of 14 diamonds and if I want more, I'll have to pay with real cash (Paypal or Credit Card I guess). But the bucks are added to your account, I'm just not sure how the rate per hour.

Then you get to compete with other Fashionistas. As you can see I just lost. 

You battle against your hotness level (I'm hotter), Clique Size (I got no friends) and Closet Bonus (I need to shop more!).

I am no Fahionista but I love dressing up my dolls, so I might play a little more.

Nokia 808 Pureview with 41 MP Camera Smartphone

A whooping 41 megapixel camera in a smartphone, how cool would that be?

Nokia released it's newest smartphone with 41MP camera. I am loving my 8MP camera on iPhone 4S and imagining it with 5x clearer is something I still cannot grasp. 

Should I be excited or not? I am leaning on the not because I think it's over the top and if I want to have clear pictures I should get myself a DSLR instead. 

But I can always change my mind after I got more info on the other features this Nokia 808 Pureview will have. And of course, if the price is right!

I've used Agoda.com for the hotel bookings I made for our Boracay trip in April 2012. So far it was an easy booking process and with instant confirmation. To check the validity, I asked my cousin to double check our bookings and it was confirmed by the hotel too.

There's a rebate given for every booking done at Agoda.com and you can use it on your next bookings.

Playing with Siri on iPhone 4S

One of the most anticipated feature of the new iPhone that has never before graced any of the previous models is The Siri.

Siri is your virtual assistant, you can ask her to call, read and send messages, check your schedule, browse the web, etc.

Well, yes she does that but as any other AI (artificial intelligence) apps, she can only do limited tasks. And as the user you should know the basic things she can do. You also need to be very clear with your commands or tasks.

I'm still getting the hang of it but with practice I'm sure Siri and I will be great friends.

iPhone 4S Mania

While iPhone 4S is now available in US and other few countries, in Dubai the release date is still vague. When I say available, means from the Apple Store or through wireless providers. There are a few sites that sells the iPhone 4S already, but gosh the price is too high and the danger that it is locked to a US provider is another problem.

I called the Dubai Apple Store toll number 800 444 0396, was greated by a friendly customer service but still it doesn’t change the fact that I still have to wait by the end of November or till mid of December.

Sometimes I am really tempted to grab the offers in the black market but told myself NOT to. How long can I hold on? Once it goes down to 3500 AED or $1000. Now the lowest priced is 4000 AED, just a little bit and I’ll bring you home my iPhone 4S!

I've been hearing about it in the grapevine but never really took any interest with the possiblitity of an iPhone4S release because I was bent on waiting for iPhone5. And since the Apple event announced the release of iPhone4S instead, what should I do? Wait again indefinitely?

NO! I decided to get the new iPhone4S, for a minute I want to boycott Apple and buy another smartphone instead but decided against it. I badly need a new one.

Now, I have to wait maybe another month for iPhone4S to be available here in UAE. It will be released on October 14 in the US.

So what's new with iPhone4S?

* 8 megapixel camera
* A5 dual core processor (same with iPad2)
* revamped antenna (iOS will intelligently switch between two sets to avoid drop calls)
* with Siri virtual assistant (a first in Apple handset)
